Vettaikaran songs - Review
1. Nan Adicha Tangamata(Shankar Mahadevan)Without any doubt , this is the introduction song of the film. Vijay Antony has exactly delivered a Mass intro song for the fans of Ilayathalapathy. The song will be a foot tapping one for Vijay fans and with Vijay's acrobatic dancing skills, this song will also be a Visual treat for the audience.
Rating : 8/10
2.Puli Urimudhu - (Ananthu , Mahesh Vinayakram)
This song will be a pulsating one for Vijay fans. The lyrics for this song has been written with the mass of Vijay in mind. Though the beat is not never heard before, it has enough ingredients to make the song a pulsating one. If choreographed well, then this song will be one of the biggest hits of the year.
Rating : 8.5/10
3.Oru Chinna Tamarai(Krish,Suchitra)
This is a fast paced melody song. Though the song sounds quite clinched , the music , lyrics and the voice of the singers along with the English rap is quite good. This song is a treat for those who love fast paced romantic songs.
Rating : 7.5/10
4.Karigalan Kalan(Suchitra, Sangeetha Rajeshwaran)
This is a typical Tamil folk song. Though its just another folk song, Vijay Antony has used some English raps even in this song. This song sounds average but will be a bigger hit once we see the visual with Vijay's dance.
Rating : 6/10
5.Oru Chinna Thamarai(Rap)
This song is just a slight different version of the original Chinna Thamarai song. Its just as good as the original song.
Rating : 7.5/10
6. Yen Uchi mandaiyella(Krishna Iyer, Shoba Chandrasekar)
This song is a fast paced one with a mixture western and Tamil folk items. The song sounds too loud but looks like it will suit the pace of the film. Again , the song sounds quite clinched like other songs in the album.
Rating : 6.5/10
Over all, the album is a decent one for Vijay fans and other people who love enjoying fast paced music. Vijay Antony has definitely lived up to his level and he has not disappointed the fans of Vijay.
OVER ALL RATING : 7.5/10
