The story is about S.P.Charan and co,who faces some problems,while going to Hydrabad to watch the India Vs Australia match.On their Journey to Hydrabad,there takes place an accident and thus a breakage comes in their journey.Thus,they take diversion and try to go to their destination by some other route.Unfortunately,they face some very big problem because of this new route.They get trapped by a gang of bandits who has already abducted a girl.The rest of the story is about how S.P.Charan,Premji and co,along with that girl escapes from that place.
This story seems to be an inspiration from Hollywood hit Judgement Night.But still,the director Venkat Prabhu needs to be applauded for his good screenplay and adapting it quite well as per the taste of our people.The songs are been placed in right places.Almost all of the main characters in this film have already made an appearance in Chennai-60028.
Premji,post Chennai-600028,has once again proved that he is good in timing comedies.Be it the scenes in which he says the famous dialogs of Rajni or Vijay,or the scene were he combs his hair with his hand before rescuing that abducted girl,Premji scores to core.
S.P.Charan and others in that friend's gang have also done quite a good job along with Premji.The heroine,who did the role of a school girl,looks good.Even the item number girls and many other female character who comes as bits and pieces of the film were not really bad.
Prakash Raj and Jeyaram did a very good job in this film.Especially in the pre-climax scene,which has a very unexpected twist,has been performed well by both of them.The antagonist character was also done quite well.Overall,the performance each and every artist were really nice.
Yuvan's music needs a special note.His songs were chartbusters even before the release of the film.Now,with the songs being choreographed quite well,they are a hit for sure.His BGM has also come out well.His music is definitely a boon to the film.
Regarding the negative aspects,the film starts off a bit slow unlike Chennai - 600028.The starting 20 odd minutes could've been trimmed even better.Also the movie lacks a bit of logic here and their.For instance,SPB Charan goes back to the place to take back his purse considering the fact that his purse might lead him some problems in future.But actually they left their Car and many of their items inside the car.So,won't they face any problem because of their car and the items which the car possess?
But these things are swept under the carpet by Venkat Prabhu's thrilling screenplay.Overall, when you come out of the theater,the movie makes you feel that you have watched an feel good entertainer,which is ultimately more important that any of these logical errors.
